Reading How People Grow (Cloud and Townsend, 2001) has been an appealing experience because the author of this paper's understanding of counseling continues to be transformed in different ways. This reading has forced myself to evaluate my approach to counselling and my own spiritual life has been afflicted through the expression about grace and law as well. We appreciate that the book has already been translated to Spanish dialect, which has provided me a chance to read faster and better understanding of some ideas because The spanish language is my own first vocabulary. I have previously included this book as a necessary reading towards the course of Pastoral Care, which is taught for Denver Seminary's Hispanic Endeavours because during my personal judgment this book is useful for all people in Christian ministry who would like to know how persons grow. Thus, through this kind of paper Let me explain my personal understanding how people develop according to Cloud and Townsend. Additionally , I will evaluate the book comparing that with a pair of the devices of integration presented in the lecture by Drs. Nesbit and Hasz. To accomplishing it this newspaper has been divided in three areas. The first clarifies my personal understanding about what Impair and Townsend (2001) state about how persons grow. The second area compares this book with two systems of the use, which are Biblical counseling as well as the Integration strategy.
