THE EFFECTS OF DRUG WORK WITH ON HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS AND ITS RELATIONSHIP TO EDUCATIONAL ACHIEVEMENT

The hypothesis for this report is that as a person increases medicine use, their very own success inside their education lessens. To demonstrate this is true, there have been many inspections involved in the procedure. Firstly, there was clearly secondary exploration provided in order to see the medicine use of every teenagers in Ontario, and dropout rates in Ontario as a whole. And definitions, standard drug data, and other factors of these factors. Then, there was clearly primary research used to assess the studies from the second research to just a sample of students through the Catholic Central High School community. In order to even more research the main topic of the effects of medication use on high school students and its correlation to educational success, 24 surveys were executed within the Catholic Central Secondary school community (refer to appendix, pg. 2-3), and of these 24 members, approximately 8% are grade 9 students, 21% becoming grade 15 students, 29% being quality 11 college students, and 42% being level 12 college students (refer to appendix, pg. 4, chart A). Second research says that in line with the Partnership Frame of mind Tracking Analyze (PATS, 2007), 65% of teens claim they use medications to " feel coolвЂќ and to have approval more, and their wish for social acknowledgement. Contrarily, major research demonstrated that fifty percent of learners surveyed feel that friends do not have any affect in their decisions regarding medicine or alcoholic beverages use, whereas 33% believe they do have got influence (refer to appendix, pg. four, graph...
